About This Project

The new Orthodox church is planned to be built on the same place where the old Orthodox church stood, which was seriously damaged in World War II and after some time demolished. The old church was designed by a famous serbian architect Momir Korunovic. The Representatives of the Serbian Orthodox church asked for the new church to be bigger but very similar to the old one. The new church was designed in the serbian-byzantine style just like the old one and with the principles and respect for the design of the famous serbian architect. This project was designed in cooperation with a danish architect Sandi Bozic.
